There is an MTS test set for each piece of electronics
normally found in an intersection control cabinet.
General:
In order to provide a test of the controller's ability to
respond to momentary power interruptions, a power interrupter
is supplied. It will turn off controller power for selectable
periods of 0.1 to 2.5 seconds.
The 430 Tester is housed in a highly impact resistant, lightweight,
portable case suitable for use in the field, shop or office
to test, troubleshoot, demonstrate or burn in a 170 controller.
Controller outputs are displayed with LEDs of appropriate
color; and are identified by their corresponding C-1 terminal
number. Two types of displays are available - phase oriented
with LEDs in vertical rows, or intersection oriented with
LEDs arranged to resemble an 8 phase intersection. These displays
are interchangeable.
The unit comes complete with an owner's manual that provides
complete operating and maintenance information.
